These views above can be yours during a meal if you take the elevator in the Grand Hyatt San Francisco (one block north of Union Square) to the 36th floor and dine in the Grandviews restaurant or relax with a drink in the lounge.

 

The food is quite good, but we would not be writing about it if not for the views, which are, indeed, grand. Dinner entrees run from $28 to $36 and salad is another $12. But there is a burger on their appetizer menu as well as several pizzas for $14 if you want to watch your wallet as well as the view. Their appetizers have won them high marks with even some of the most picky reviewers.
