Colorful clothes

In a Nutshell...

The Museum of Craft and Folk Art is a small, one gallery space with a small museum shop located in the museum district around Yerba Buena Gardens. They curate around three shows a year about various craft and folk arts from different cultures and times.

It is a little hard to find but it is in a store front behind St. Patrick's Church (the old brick church) and next door to the Contemporary Jewish Museum on Mission Street between 3rd and 4th Streets.

Pros:

  • Small but tasteful museum shop

Cons:

  • Tiny space
  • No permanent collection on display
